When you think of ribs, I know you don’t think of the oven. Your mind probably jumps to a smoker, but not everyone has one, and not everyone has the T I M E it takes to smoke ribs. My mom has been making this recipe for as long as I can remember, and it has never let me down. They are soooo tender and fall off the bone. You can season however you like and use your favorite barbecue sauce, but I’ll share exactly what we use below.
Ingredients:
- A rack of baby back ribs (I promise this cut is superior, we have tried them all)
- Salt and pepper
- Sweet baby rays sweet n spicy barbecue sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 300°F
- Cut your ribs into sections of 2-3 ribs.
- Season both sides with salt and pepper (or your favorite BBQ rub), and place them into a 9×13 baking dish
- Cover with foil and bake for 3 hours, until tender
- Heat your grill to medium-high.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and baste with BBQ sauce.
- Place them on the grill and cook ~3 minutes per side, or until sauce starts to caramelize.
- Service with slaw or your favorite potato salad (or both 😋)
- Enjoy!
