Burger Bowl are easily the most frequented meal in my home. They’re just so good and versatile, so you can eat them every week but with different toppings, they feel like a different meal. Some of my favorite ways to dress up a burger bowl are below:
- the OG: lettuce, baby potatoes, pickles, onions, and homemade mac sauce
- smashed avocado, pickled red onions
- topped with a fried egg
- switch out the baby potatoes for sweet potatoes
- bbq sauce and crispy onions
the list goes on and on and on
But I’ll walk you through the basics below…
ingredients:
- 4 grass fed beef burgers (any beef would work, this is just what we use)
- salt and Bourbon pepper
- shredded lettuce
- baby potatoes, quartered
- olive oil
- flaky sea salt
- white onion, diced
- sandwich style dill pickles, chopped roughly
for the mac sauce:
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1 tbsp ketcup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- splash of pickle juice
Instructions:
- Wash and quarter baby potatoes. Toss in olive oil and season with flaky sea salt.
- Cook in air fryer for 20 minutes at 390 degrees.
- Season your burgers with salt and pepper, Bourbon pepper if you’re feeling crazy
- Grill burgers to your liking (we go for medium)
- i should say, you could just cook ground beef on the stove instead if you aren’t a grill girl
- Mix ingredients for mac sauce.
- Assemble bowl: baby potatoes, chopped up burger patty, diced onions,
